Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RentLoop platform ("Service"), operated by Teveti Inc., a Delaware C-Corp ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is available at rentloop.net and through related applications.

2. Description of Service

RentLoop is a property management platform that enables landlords to manage properties, units, tenants, and leases, and enables tenants to view lease details, pay rent, and submit maintenance requests. The Service includes web-based dashboards, payment processing, automated invoicing, and communication tools.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

4. User Roles

The Service supports two primary user roles: Landlords and Tenants. Landlords manage properties, create leases, generate invoices, and invite tenants. Tenants are invited by landlords and may view lease details, make payments, and submit maintenance requests. Each user is assigned a role upon registration or invitation, and certain features are available only to specific roles.

5. Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by law. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. By using our payment features, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. A 1% platform fee is applied to each tenant payment processed through the Service. Late fees and payment schedules are configured by landlords and disclosed to tenants through their lease terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any portion of the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Teveti Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service, but you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process that data solely to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teveti Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Teveti Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
